EID MUBARAK WITH FAMILY !

On 15th June, everyone was very content and on cloud 9. This was because Syawal month (in Islam Calendar) had begun. I was very excited to wear my baju kurung . On that day, everyone looked very stunning and smart.   In the morning, my siblings and I asked for forgiveness from my mom and dad because life goes on so we must forgive and forget what’s wrong. They gave us some money as known as duit raya .   After that, together as a family, we went to our village and enjoyed some well-known food during Raya such as ketupat, lemang, dodol, and rendang . All of them was cooked by my grandma. It was super tasty till now I can feel the taste in my mouth.   I also got some duit raya from my relatives which is my uncles and aunties. Then, we went on visiting a few houses. We had so much food that was very delicious and mouthwatering till we were fulled. We were very tired so went home but a bit late in the evening.   At night, my cousins and my siblings i

What would I do if I were the Prime Minister for the day? What are my priorities if I were running the country?

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.   - John C. Maxwell With the power of the presidency, the world can be changed. A president must lead by example and motivate his people. Presidential power would overwhelm most, but not me. I know exactly what I would change to make the world a better place. To begin with, I would work to make our country safer. I would do this by enforcing and increasing the severity of laws against offenses such as murder and drunk driving to increase the safety of our children. I would hire more police officers and security personnel. By increasing security in the country, we can maintain a safer setting for us all. In addition, I would make our country a more environmentally friendly one. I would accomplish this by encouraging the use of alternative fuel sources such as wind, solar, geothermal and water to save our planet from pollution. I would establish tax credits to develop environmentally friendly energy sources and

Do you think the age of technologies turns us into zombies ?

Immersed in cell phones, ear-phones on the ear, engrossed in reading a recent tweet or up-date, hypnotized by the spell of smart-phones, unconscious from their next-door neighbor, extrinsically pleasant but intrinsically exhausted, frustrated, worn out and fatigued, I find zombies everywhere, technological zombies. If I go twenty years back, I feel like that we were quite happy when the phone was only an instrument, a call making or text receiving the instrument. But in the modern age, it seems that our young generation is hardly unaware about “phone” existing in their smart-phones. We are not just mortified by smartphones; rather there are tabs, palmtops, and many other electronic devices. To greet birthdays, marriages, the momentous events physical visit was considered pivotal. Each rendezvous used to result in strengthened family bonds, fastened relationships, and shortened spiritual distance. There was no sensation of alienation and loneliness. We were sure of having people sid

Should education be free for everyone ?

All education should be free to all people and paid for the government. This statement has caused great controversy over past decades. On the one hand, it should be free since there are poor who are smart, intelligent and capable, yet the states provide no education for them. How would you feel knowing that your life is never going to get better because you don’t have the opportunity? Another argument is economic development. Finishing school and pursuing a career will allow you to get a higher standard of living hence economic development. The last argument for free education is economic growth. If everyone gets a well-paid job, they will contribute to society by becoming taxpayers. The state will be capable of improving the country. On the other hand, it shouldn’t be free as the tax would need to increase to provide free education and not many people are pleased with the idea. However, if the tax doesn’t increase, we will get a mediocre education. This is seen in Peru wh
